Nurse Tasker uses cookies primarily to keep you securely signed in to the web app and to remember a small number of interface preferences. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell any information collected through cookies.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

Essential cookies

Required for the web app to function — primarily authentication/session cookies that keep you logged in as you move between pages. The Service cannot function without these, so they can't be turned off while continuing to use the web app.

Functional cookies

Remember interface preferences, such as your last-selected shift view (Grid or Timeline), light/dark theme, and whether you've dismissed a cookie or onboarding notice.

Analytics cookies

Where enabled, help us understand how the Service is used in aggregate (e.g. which pages are visited) so we can improve it. These are configured to avoid identifying individual users where possible.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some pages may load resources (such as web fonts) from third-party providers, which can set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies. We keep third-party dependencies to a minimum and avoid third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying logged in to the web app. Our native mobile apps (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac) do not use browser cookies at all — they use secure, platform-native storage for the same purpose (keeping you signed in).
